In this article, we are going to discuss some vaping side effects and how you can prevent them. There are a few side effects that come with vaping some of which are very easy to avoid. Before we start I just want to let you know that everyone’s body reacts to things differently. It is not necessary that you will have to see all these side effects because using good vape kits do not produce such side effects.
Dehydration is one of the most common side effects when it comes to vaping. Because most of the e-juices come with PG that actually draws in moisture. PG stands for propylene glycol and it’s one of the main ingredients in a liquid.
The easiest way to counteract this is to simply drink some more water to get the moisture back into your system. Another thing you can do is get e-juices that have a lower PG ratio for example in a TVG 20 PG juice or even a hundred percent PG. However, you will notice that the lower PG ratio in an e juice the thicker the juice will be. So just make sure that your tank can absorb thicker liquids. You can try different vape mods as they come with a powerful mechanism for handling the liquid.
Sore throat and coughing can also be attributed to the PG levels in your e-juice. There’s actually a lot of people allergic to propylene glycol. If you do have a PG allergy you’ll definitely notice a sore throat and coughing when you do take a vape. Again you can combat this by getting a hundred percent PG juices.
Another factor to a sore throat and coughing when vaping is nicotine. Nicotine and PG are what provides the throat hit or harshness when it comes to vaping. If you get a nicotine strength that’s way too high for your intake you’ll get a throat hit, that’s way too harsh to handle.
If this is the case try stepping down your nicotine strength in your next e-juice. Too much nicotine can also lead to nausea headaches and dizziness. This is known as nicotine poisoning and this usually goes away on its own.
Another common side effect with vaping is what we call vapors tongue. The concept is very simple when you’ve eaten the same flavor for a prolonged period and after a while, you’re just not able to taste it anymore. This can be avoided by switching up your flavors every once in a while to refresh your palate
Now let’s discuss the side effects of vaping if you’re coming from smoking a survey was conducted by dr. Farr Cellino on 9,000 vapors. The survey concluded by a large number of these vapors reported that they had improved breathing, overall better physical health, improved sense of smell, reduced coughs and more.
So at the end of the day of your debating on making the switch over to vaping you may indeed run into some of these side effects. Most of the negative effects, however, are likely to be temporary or minor. Anything that you inhale that isn’t air will obviously not be the best for you. But vaping is definitely a cleaner and safer alternative to traditional tobacco.
